Educational Content

Throughout my time at Cymatics, I've recorded and narrated a catalog of over 70 hours of educational content which has amassed hundreds of thousands of views across all of our publishing platforms. My wealth of expertise in all aspects of music production including composition, sound design, audio engineering, and recording, enables me to demystify any topic which stands in the way of a creator trying to execute their vision.

Over the years, my educational courses have become a crucial and long-standing piece of Cymatics' product launch and customer acquisition strategy. I believe that the knowledge of our user-base must grow alongside our constantly evolving products for the potential of our tools to be fully realized in the hands of new and experienced users alike.

Shown here are some excerpts from my catalog of educational material, spanning a variety of genres, topics, and marketing applications.

Immortal Aftermath

As part of Cymatics' launch campaign for the Immortal Aftermath sample pack, we held a contest between myself and 3 other members of the Cymatics team for a YouTube content piece. I used this opportunity to present the versatility of the pack, as well as to demonstrate some novel production techniques using voice-to-voice AI and the Cymatics Diablo plugin.

Phoenix Masterclass

Accompanying the release of Phoenix, one of our most ambitious sample packs to date, was an equally ambitious production masterclass comprised of 25 in-depth videos. Here is an instructive example from a slightly more advanced video in that course, where I detail my process for applying reverb to vocals and correcting sibilance.

Equinox Production Course

In this video, I walk through the production of a beat using assets from the Equinox production suite. One advantage of using Cymatics' packs is the availability of separate track stems for all of our melody and drum loops, allowing for a virtually infinite number of novel musical combinations and dramatically expediting workflow. Here I demonstrate how to leverage stems, loops, and one-shots to create and fill out an ambient production.
